For fun and because I can

Mr. Mike

Mr. Mike turns an iPhone or iPad into a live microphone for an internet radio station. I made it for my grandma.

Fernando

Fernando is the radio from the 2000s Grand Theft Auto games, on iPhone, CarPlay and Mac. Stations keep playing while you’re tuned away, so retuning an hour later lands you mid-song.

Mug

Mug is a tiny menu bar app that keeps your Mac awake while a download, a render or a presentation finishes. It’s free on the Mac App Store, with no accounts or tracking.

Diario

In Diario, an AI editor running on a local model reads the RSS feeds I follow, picks the day’s stories and lays them out in Spanish by section: Chile, the world, technology, entertainment and lifestyle.

Toolsmith

Toolsmith turns any command-line program into tools an AI assistant can call. It started as a Swift port of mcp-proxy, which connects AI assistants to local and remote tool servers.

Boot

Boot is my version of the Goodies Disk that came with early Macs, but for the Terminal. It sets up the shell on every Mac and Linux box I use with the same tools, settings and handful of small scripts.

pase.pro

Chile’s COVID vaccination pass came as a PDF, so people scrolled through their photos to find it. pase.pro turns it into an Apple Wallet pass, built entirely in your browser. The Clinic wrote about it in January 2022.
